Right Time Now

You can see right from the start of this book that this is going to be a different read. The author asks you not to look at your life in years but in days. It’s the Right Time Now will make you cry, laugh, smile, and be grateful for the life you have and just when you think you are out of the woods it throws you another hurdle. It will touch your heart and change it forever.

“I stood there splashing cold water on my face. I looked into the mirror. I was shockingly white. The skin around my eyes was black as the night sky and the whites of my eyes were as red as fire. For the first time, I saw what I had become. I was a down and out drunk. Broke, scared and lonely – this was how I was going to die. I was convinced this was the day it would all come to an end.

After what seemed like an hour at the sink I started to feel my heart slow down. Most of the time, the only way to slow down my heart after a night out was to have a drink, but this time as I stood there I slowly started to feel a little better. I couldn’t stop looking at myself in the mirror. Who was I looking at?”
