The Hope Centre of Learning will be a place where dreams begin, respect is shown, success is encouraged and where people will be inspired to believe that anything is possible. Housed within the Oshawa Community Health Centre, it will most importantly be a place where hope is always present.
THE HOPE CENTRE OF LEARNING
The Hope Centre of Learning has been designed to create a space that will inspire all ages. It will house thousands of positive impact books to inspire and motivate. We will include the latest in technology through PCs and I-Macs, software for graphics design, video editing, music and web design. Our goal is to help encourage those that want to learn and inspire them to follow their dreams. Each year we will ask our partners to help support our book program so all of our visitors will have the latest titles to choose from.
The Hope Centre is a bright, warm inviting room that will be used during the day by seniors with Alzheimer's disease and their caregivers. Youth will use the room for after school programs and a comfortable place for homework and studying. Daily snack programs will ensure that no one goes hungry. Programs will be implemented by the staff with The Oshawa Community Health Centre and the Oshawa Seniors Centre.
